Elephant Thoughts is a national award winning children’s education charity and has celebrated our 10th year of delivering exciting and sought after education outreach programs in schools in and around the Georgian Triangle.
We focus on First Nations and Inuit education all across Canada and internationally in India, Nepal and Tanzania.

Our global head office is here in Collingwood and we would like to invite all Chamber members to join us on Thursday February 21, 2013 from 5-7pm in the Explore Store and find out what we are all about!

Play with lemurs and turtles and enjoy some Kawartha ice cream in the Kids Canteen.

Remember your business card for the draw! Refreshments and nibblies will be served (we promise it won’t be anything we feed the dragons!)

Photoshop for Photographers

Location: Georgian College 499 Raglan Street

Using Photoshop students learn fundamental photographic editing, retouching, creative imaging effects and composition to easily allow photographers the ability to edit and correct their images. (This course is mandatory to obtain the Photography recognition of Successful Completion for students pursuing the digital option.)Thursday February 21 – Thursday March 28, 2013 6:00-9:00pm $169

Collingwood Jazz & Blues Winter Blues Series

The Collingwood Jazz & Blues Society’s Winter Blues Series
Takes place once a month from January – April. 2013 line-up is as follows:
January 17 - Chuck Jackson
February 21 – Michael Dunston
March 21 – Harmonica Shah
April 18 – Morgan Davis
All concerts are 7 pm – 9 pm at the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts, 163 Hurontario Street, Collingwood
Single Concert - $15 advance, $20 at door, Series tickets are $50
